About
I am a Digital Dance Artist based in Leicester, specializing in the intersection of dance and technology. As a resident artist at De Montfort University, I explore the realms of virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and extended reality (XR) to create captivating dance performances in the digital realm.

Utilizing cutting-edge technology such as 360-degree cameras, VR headsets, and motion capture (MoCap) systems, I push the boundaries of traditional dance by integrating immersive digital experiences into my work.

In addition to my expertise in digital dance, I am also a company dancer and a proud member of ID Dance Company, affiliated with the organization "We Are EPIC." As part of this esteemed dance company, I collaborate with fellow artists to create dynamic and impactful performances that captivate audiences.

Currently, I am working on my prototype performance work titled "ECHO" in collaboration with Anthony Woodward. "ECHO" explores the concept of twin planets and delves into the interplay between physical and digital dance. Through this project, we aim to create a mesmerizing experience that blurs the boundaries between reality and the virtual world.

Furthermore, I bring my skills as a performer, choreographer, and content creator to the forefront, crafting compelling dance routines and experiences. I embrace the power of social media content creation and marketing to share our work and engage with a wider audience. Through these platforms, I aim to connect with fellow artists, collaborators, and dance enthusiasts worldwide, spreading the artistry and creativity of ID Dance Company.

Having completed two years of my Dance (BA Hons) Degree at De Montfort University, I am eagerly looking forward to embarking on my final year in 2023-2024. Throughout my studies, my research has been highly experimental as I strive to unravel the possibilities and implications of combining dance and technology. By embracing this fusion, I aim to redefine the boundaries of artistic expression and challenge traditional notions of performance in the digital age.
