This project was a three month course with students from Leicester College for their work placement as part of their T-Levels. The students had the opportunity to work as commissioned Creative Technologists to create a virtual reality (VR) dance rendition of the Greek myth Narcissus and Echo.
The weekly sessions were led by industry professionals Sophy Smith, Anthony Woodward, and myself, students have delve into the creative process of bringing this classical myth to life in the digital realm. Through a series of practical exercises and workshops, participants will learn essential techniques and concepts required to develop a captivating VR dance rendition. Exploring Unity world building, Volumetric Capture, and Motion Capture.
The end of the project other students from the College were invited to User Test Narcicuss and Echo prototype number 1.
